The Sales and Customer Satisfaction Representative handles the day-to-day operations of the membership desk at the JAM Center. This vital team member greets customers in person and by telephone, & provides informational services.

Responsibilities

Primary Functions:
Greet members in person and on the phone in a professional manner.
Provide information on JAM Center services and programs.
Sell JAM Center memberships and programs.
Register program participants for JAM Center programs, classes, and special events.
Give tours to prospective customers.
Receive, count, and track transactions received.
Assist with member appreciation days.
Provide assistance to department supervisors.
Perform any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the JAM Center.
Adhere to and facilitate Welcome Center and JAM Center procedures with accuracy.

Secondary Functions:
Participate in all required trainings and initiatives and meetings.
Maintain all areas to be clean and in a presentable fashion.
Arrange, display, and maintain a positive image in the lobby, front desk area, bulletin boards, and hallways.
Keep all personal certifications up to date.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Past cash handling experience preferred.
At least eighteen years of age or older.
Proficiency with computers and technology preferred.
Cardio Pulmonary Respiratory (CPR) certificate required within 6 months of hire - training will be provided.
Basic mathematics skills.
