Responsibilities

Maintains a neat and organized JAM Play area
Actively supervises and participates in activities with all children
Upholds all JAM Center policies, procedures, standards and code of conduct
Treats all children with dignity and respect
Communicates all suggestions, incidents and feedback to supervisor
Uses appropriate forms of redirection
Greets and informs parents and children
Respects confidentiality when discussing issues concerning children
Cleaning and maintenance of the JAM Center when there are no children in JAM Play

Qualifications

JAM Play Childcare Staff are required to be a minimum of 16 years of age.

Have a positive attitude and follow directions
Relates to children, members, and other staff in a positive manner
Ability to plan and initiate age appropriate games and activities
Extraordinary interpersonal communication and the ability to interact well with the public is a must
Currently certified in CPR, or be certified within 6 months of hire (when class is offered)
First Aid/AED certified upon hire
Abuse and Neglect training upon hire
