JAM Play offers an exciting blend of physical activity, exercise, and creative, lively game sessions for children. We are looking for a friendly, responsible, creative, and kind individual who loves helping kids learn and grow! This person will participate in and supervise our JAM Play sessions, ensure safe and enjoyable childcare for our members and their children, and maintain visual and auditory supervision at all times.
We are looking for someone available on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, with the potential for additional hours and shifts in the future. This role offers flexible scheduling and is perfect for someone looking to work 5-15 hours per week.
$8.50 - $15.00 hourly

- Maintain a neat and organized JAM Play area
- Actively supervise and participate in activities
- Uphold all JAM Center policies, procedures, standards, and code of conduct
- Treat all children with dignity and respect
- Communicate all suggestions, incidents, and feedback to supervisor
- Use appropriate forms of redirection
- Greet and inform parents and children
- Respect confidentiality when discussing issues concerning children
- Cleaning and maintenance of the JAM Center during downtime
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Have a positive attitude and follow directions
- Relate to children, members, and other staff in a positive manner
- Ability to plan and initiate age-appropriate games and activities
- Extraordinary interpersonal communication and the ability to interact well with the public is a must
- Currently certified in CPR, or be certified within 6 months of hire (free certification by JAM)
- First Aid/AED certification to be completed upon hire
- Abuse and Neglect Recognition training to be completed upon hire
