Keeping our facility clean and organized is a big job, and our Janitorial staff are experts at safety and cleanliness! Under the direction of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for our community center. These tasks include daily cleaning and special projects. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential. This shift would be 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and locker rooms
- Restock supplies in bathrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary
- Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture
- Cleaning windowsills and windows
- Maintain janitor storage areas/carts in a clean, organized, and safe manner
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
- Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals
- Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
- Wearing proper safety equipment at all times
- Communicating building and inventory needs to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager
- Taking care of facility needs as they arise with swiftness and accuracy


- High school diploma or GED
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn
- Quality work ethic & dependability
- Ability to lift and move boxes and equipment of various weights; climb ladders as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Ability to climb, push, and pull
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 pounds
