This is a unique time of day for JAMEE students. We are seeking a teacher that is creative and consistent. Although not our typical school day, the classroom environment will continue to be in alignment with the Reggio Emilia philosophy and rooted in principles of human development. Our teachers allow the time and space for children to make their own connections and engage in their own interests. There will be a consistent group of children in Aftercare daily which allows for providing depth and individualized learning for children enrolled. The role of the teacher is to foster autonomy, observe for insight, and let the children lead the learning of the space. Our focus is to provoke and nurture curiosity in even the youngest learners. The Reggio Emilia philosophy is deeply rooted in the connection between home and school. Professional and mindful communication with parents is crucial for this role.
