Be the first smile, the helping hand, and the heartbeat of community.
At the JAM Center, we believe that belonging begins the moment someone walks through our doors. As our Membership & Community Experience Lead, you'll help create a place where every person feels seen, welcomed, and inspired to connect. Whether you're celebrating a member's milestone, introducing someone to a new class, solving a challenge with kindness, or helping a family discover all the opportunities available to them, you'll play an important role in shaping experiences that make people want to come back.
This is more than a customer service position, it's an opportunity to build relationships, strengthen community, and help people thrive. You'll support and encourage our Welcome Center team, serve as a trusted leader during evenings and weekends, and help ensure every interaction reflects the values that make the JAM Center special.
What You'll Do
Welcome every member and guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine care.
Help people find programs, services, and opportunities that fit their goals and interests.
Lead tours and celebrate new members as they become part of the JAM community.
Support the Welcome Center team by providing guidance, encouragement, and leadership during your shift.
Coordinate memberships, registrations, and daily operations with accuracy and attention to detail.
Create memorable experiences through member appreciation events, outreach, and community engagement.
Solve problems with compassion, professionalism, and a people-first mindset.
Help keep our Welcome Center running smoothly, safely, and joyfully.
Who You Are
You're someone who genuinely enjoys people. You remember names, notice when someone is having a hard day, and find joy in helping others feel like they belong. You're organized, dependable, and comfortable leading a team while balancing the details that keep operations running well. You communicate with kindness, stay calm under pressure, and believe that small moments of connection can make a big difference.
Our Values
At the JAM Center, we don't simply provide programs—we create community. Every decision and every interaction is guided by our shared values:
Caring – We lead with compassion and put people first.
Honesty – We build trust through integrity and transparency.
Respect – We celebrate every individual and create spaces where everyone belongs.
Responsibility – We show up for one another, our community, and our mission.
Why You'll Love It Here
Every day is different. One moment you might be welcoming a new family, the next you're celebrating a member's success, helping a child sign up for swim lessons, supporting a teammate, or connecting someone with a program that changes their life. You'll join a team that believes wellness is about more than fitness... it's about relationships, purpose, and creating a place where people of all ages can grow together.
If you love bringing people together, creating meaningful experiences, and making your community stronger one conversation at a time, we'd love to meet you. Come help us build a place where together, we're so much more.
