"The education that Asher received and Fitzgerald is receiving at The JAM Center is second to none. The coursework is student-centered and student driven, creating a learning environment in which all students can thrive. Because of the inquiry exploration skills Asher experienced at the JAM Center, he was beyond ready for Kindergarten at J E Ober Elementary School this year with many of the standards already mastered, including the majority of his sight words. With a foundation of his education being self-directed and experimentally-led, I can already see him taking ownership of his learning! The JAM is more than childcare. Yes, they do an excellent job meeting the basic needs of my children, but they are feeding and fostering a love of learning and growth mindset."

Empowering Tomorrow: Inside Our Youth Initiative
Every school day ends differently for every child. For some, it means heading home to finish homework around the kitchen table. For others, it means finding a safe place to spend the afternoon while parents finish work. At JAM Center, those afternoon hours become opportunities to learn, build confidence and create meaningful relationships with caring adults. That is why volunteers play such an important role in our after-school program.
Golfers and community supporters gathered at Garrett Country Club on June 12th for JAM Center’s Par 3 Golf Outing, enjoying a beautiful day on the course while raising support for the nonprofit and its mission to strengthen families, promote wellness and build meaningful community connections. The unique outing featured a par-3 format on every hole, creating a fun and approachable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The winning team consisted of Nick Reinoehl, Jarod Leeson, Scott Pfeiffer and JJ Brita, who claimed top honors in the scramble.
Families from across the region gathered at JAM Center on May 9th for JAM Family Fest: Loving Benjamin’s Day of Family Fun, a community celebration that combined recreation, connection and charitable giving in support of two organizations dedicated to strengthening families.
